Novation Circuit – the most important at a glance

Novation’s Circuit is an allinone synthesizer, sampler, and drum machine. It’s inspired by classic drum machines, synthesizers, and samplers, and is designed to be easy to use and highly tweakable. There are four different versions of the Circuit: the original Circuit, the Circuit Mono Station, the Circuit Playground, and the Circuit Tracks.

The original Circuit is a groovebox that includes two Nova synths, a fourpart drum machine, and a sampler. It’s designed for live performance and is highly portable. The Circuit Mono Station is a monophonic version of the Circuit with one Nova synth. It’s ideal for basslines and lead melodies. The Circuit Playground is a lowercost version of the Circuit that includes one Nova synth and a twopart drum machine. The Circuit Tracks is a version of the Circuit that includes four audio tracks, making it ideal for live looping and recording.

All versions of the Circuit are compatible with the Circuit Editor, a free software editor that lets you create and modify sounds. The Circuit Editor is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
